Dive Trips
Every year I lead two dive trips you can join me on. I don't charge a booking fee - I share the details, you book directly, and we go together.
For 2027, the two trips I'm planning are Cozumel in February and the Philippines in the spring. Below those, you'll find more dive trips I'm interested in and involved in - I'm not on those ones, but you can book them directly through authorized travel agencies or directly through the vendor.

Cozumel, Mexico - February 2027
One week, 7 nights, 5 days of 2-tank diving, two divers sharing.
- Iberostar Waves Cozumel with Dressel Divers: $3,250 for two with own gear ($3,538 with full gear) - best-documented bundle, free nitrox for certified divers, airport transfers included
- Secrets Aura Cozumel (adults-only) with Dive House: $4,183 for two ($4,423 with nitrox)
- Cozumel Palace with Aqua Safari: $6,648 for two - modelled figure, lowest confidence, no bundled dive price published
- San Francisco airfare separate: roughly $398 to $525 per person, no nonstop
- February is high season; availability must be confirmed at booking - these are modelled totals, not bookable quotes
Philippines - spring 2027 (Palawan land week + Tubbataha liveaboard)
Two weeks, land first then liveaboard, with one extra night in Puerto Princesa after disembarking.
- Narayana: $4,730 per person / $9,460 for two
- Black Noddy: $5,713 per person / $11,426 for two
- Philippine Siren: $6,550 per person / $13,100 for two
- San Francisco airfare counted once in each total; tips, gear rental, and insurance not included
- Budget note: Narayana and Black Noddy fit under $12,000 per couple; the Siren does not
- Luxury liveaboard options also available for this trip (Atlantis Adventurer, Aggressor I & II, Atlantis Infiniti, Solitude One, Stella Maris Explorer) - with airfare included, only Solitude One Deluxe keeps the combo under $12,000 per couple
- Note: Narayana availability for March through early June 2027 is already very tight, mostly single spaces - re-check before planning around it

Misool Eco Resort - Raja Ampat, Indonesia
One week, Water Cottage: $8,875 per person / $17,750 for two (South Beach Villa: $8,425 / $16,850)
- Meals included in the package; diving is bought separately on arrival, so the dive figure inside this total is an estimate, not a published price
- Watch the calendar: 7-night trips run only in March-April 2027, and the resort closes for the south monsoon after June 19 until September 20
Little Cayman Beach Resort / Brac Reef Beach Resort - Cayman Islands
One week, Little Cayman Pool View: $4,045 per person / $8,090 for two (Brac Reef: $3,695 / $7,390)
- The only option where lodging, diving, all meals, and most taxes and gratuities come as one published package price
- March-May is peak dive season; June starts the transition into hurricane season, but nothing closes
Koh Tao, Thailand
One week, custom itinerary: $1,656 per person / $3,312 for two
- Koh Tao is the pick because it's the one Thai dive region in season across the whole March-June window; the Andaman side and Similan Islands close in mid-May
- Built from day-boat dive rates and mid-range rooms, not a single resort package, so it's an estimate from unit rates
